Can Anything Stop Amala Paul’S Climb To Dizzying Heights?
‘When it rains it pours’ says the adage and no one can say that with more conviction than Amala Paul. When she hit the screens the first time in a incestuous role in her debut film ‘Sindu Samaveli’ she was dismissed as another actress who has tried to make an entry through sleaze. But now she is proving all her critics wrong with a slew of films in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Having films like ‘Mynaa’ and then ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ and more recently ‘Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Eppadi’ she has knocked the competition for a loop. A leading critic said that it is her ability to speak multiple languages that is her strength. She grew up watching Mohanlal in her favourite films and recently when she was offered a role opposite him in ‘Run Baby Run’ she was speechless. She remembers bunking school to watch Mohanlal in dozens of movies and when she finally met him it was a dream come true for her. She has been selected by Allu Shirish to act opposite him in his debut film which may or may not be such a bad idea considering it will be directed by Radha Mohan. The final feather in her cap will be V. V. Vinayak directed mass film which will have Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal alongside.
