Did Parvathy Omanakuttan Feel Cheated In ‘Billa 2’?
She made her cinematic debut through the Bollywood flick ‘United Six’ directed by Vishal Aryan Singh. ‘United Six’ was a story of six girls, living in Bangkok. They are going through a tough phase in their lives. With their dreams have shattered and their aspirations crushed and in a fit of anger, they decide to rob a bank. The film did not set the box office on fire and it was mostly because Parvathy shared screen space with five others that it did nothing for her career. Recently media reports alleged that Parvathy Omanakuttan felt that her role in ‘Billa 2’ was cut. That was widely quoted but fortunately did not create any unpleasantness for her. Parvathy said, “I never said that. I was completely misquoted.” She says, “I knew all along what my character was and I was very aware of the fact that it was Ajith sir’s film. I was given ample screen space in the film and I have absolutely no regrets about the film either. In fact, I have received a lot of positive response from people in the film,” she smiles and continues, “It’s very unfair for people to assume and write what they want when I have all along been accessible for any clarification.”
