Kabali spills into hotels after theaters.
The buzz about Kabali is literally going out of control. The producers and distributors are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that there is nobody who doesn’t know about this film. Among the latest schemes to hit the public is a plan by a couple of 5 star hotels in Bangalore to show the movie inside their banquet halls on opening day. This is actually a fantastic Idea and will open up a new market for Kollywood films. The plan is to exhibit the original print in a large banquet hall so that people can sit back, watch the movie in comfort and style and even be able to have a drink and a meal while they watch the movie. It’s going to be shown in big brand hotels like the JW Marriot, The Lalit Ashok, Royal Orchid, Crown Plaza and many more. Best of all is that tickets are not priced astronomically. If you compare the price of watching it in a 5 Star hotel to a theatre on opening night it is reasonable. The owner of the music company that released the music in Karnataka said the tickets will be sold for just 1300 rupees and will be available on the website BookMyShow. What is not known is the security aspects because it is a known fact that with Rajini having a huge fan following in Karnataka also there is likely to be a lot of pushing and shoving but this is great news for Kollywood films particularly Kabali.
