Why Are Parts Of The Ram-Tamannah Film Being Reshot For Kollywood?
The actor Ram who has notched up many hit films in A.P. is trying to make his entry into Kollywood. The recent cross language successes of Telugu films in Tamil Nadu has emboldened many Tollywood actors to try their hand in Kollywood. Ram studied in Chennai and can even be said to be from Chennai so it was but natural that he looked for recognition in his home town. The producer of the film ‘Endukante Premante’ has now decided in consultation with the actor to release the film in Tamil also. As a matter of fact it was always decided to be released in Tamil also but since it did not set the screens on fire in A.P. they decided that some scenes needed to be reshot to suit Tamil audiences. The heroine Tamannah had no problems with that so many scenes have been reshot. Ram and his distributor uncle have decided to leave nothing to chance particularly because it is Ram’s debut in Kollywood. There was some talk about the Tamil film titled ‘Yen Endraal Kaadhal Enben’ being scheduled about three weeks after its release in Telugu but now it looks like the producers left the gap between the releases just to take care of any negative fallout after the Telugu film got released.
