Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni or simply known as Birbal [2] is a 2019 Kannada language crime thriller film written and directed by MG Srinivas.[3] The film is the first instalment of the Birbal Trilogy.The movie also marked the third character based trilogy in Kannada after CID 999 and Sangliyana.[4]

Rukmini Vasanth made her debut as lead actress.[5] This movie introduced 8D song for the first time in Kannada. This was the first Kannada movie to use the Scribble effect. This was also the first time that VFX had been done in Canada for a Kannada film.[4][6][7] Its sequels are titled Birbal Trilogy Case No. 2: Avrn bitt, Ivrn bitt, Ivryaru? and Birbal Trilogy Case No. 3: Turremane.

The movie was praised for employing the Rashomon Effect in its story narration technique. [8] The movie was reported to be loosely based on the 2017 Korean movie New Trial.[9][1] The Telugu remake of the movie titled Thimmarasu was announced in September 2020. [10]

Fortuner

Fortuner (English: Luck or Privilege) is a 2019 Indian Kannada language romantic-family drama directed by Manjunath J Anivaarya[1] who is making his directorial debut. The film is first venture by Golecha Films International helmed by Rajesh Golecha, Anand Golecha, Surendar Golecha and Vimal Golecha. DiganthSonu Gowda[2] and Swathi Sharma are playing lead roles supported by Rajesh Nataranaga, Kalyani Raju, Vinayak JoshiNaveen Krishna among many others.[3]

Aduva Gombe

Aduva Gombe (English: Playing Doll) is a 2019 Indian Kannada family drama film written and directed by S. K. Bhagavan of the famed duo Dorai-Bhagavan, who returns to film direction after 22 years.[1] Produced under the banner Kasthuri Nivasa Creations, the film is jointly funded by Shivappa A and Venugopal K.[2] The film stars Sanchari Vijay and Rishita Malnad in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Ananth Nag and Sudha Belawadi among others. The film’s score and soundtrack is composed by Hemanth Kumar and cinematography is by Ganesh.

The film released across Karnataka on 4 January 2019 and marked the first release for the year in Kannada cinema.[3]

Golkeri

Golkeri (Mango pickle) is a Gujarati comedy drama film directed by Viral Shah and produced by Manasi Parekh and Parthiv Gohil under banner of Soul Sutra Studio. It is written by Viral Shah and Amatya. The film starring Malhar Thakar and Manasi Parekh is a remake of 2017 Marathi film Muramba.[2]

The story of the film follows Sahil (played by Malhar Thakar) and his girlfriend and fiancé Harshita (played by Manasi Parekh) and their breakup. His parents (played by Sachin and Vandana) try to convince Sahil to get over his differences with Harshita. The film was released in India on 28 February 2020.[3] The theatrical run was shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic and it was subsequently released for streaming on Prime Video.[1]

Luv Ni Love Storys is a 2020 Gujarati romantic comedydrama film written and directed by Durgesh Tanna. The film is produced by Manish Andani and Karim Minsariya under the banner of Swissk Entertainment and DB Talkies. The music and background scores are composed by Parth Bharat Thakkar with lyrics from Niren Bhatt and Aaditya Gadhavi.[1] The casting director of the film is Avani Soni and the film stars Pratik GandhiShraddha DangarDeeksha Joshi, Vyoma Nandi and Hardik Sangani in leading roles.[2]
