Drona is a 2020 Indian Kannada-language action drama film, directed by Pramod Chakravarthy and produced by Mahadevappa B. Halagatthi under the banner Dolphin Media House. Starring Shiva Rajkumar playing the role of a government school teacher who fights for the survival of school.^[2][3][4] The movie is an official remake of the 2012 Tamil movie Saattai.^[5]

Bicchugatti: Chapter 1 ? Dalvayi Dange is a 2020 Indian Kannada language historical-period film directed by Hari Santosh, produced by Om Sai Krishna under his own banner Om Sai Krishna Productions. The film, starring Hariprriya and Rajavardhan^[1] is an adaptation of novel Bichhugathi Baramanna Nayaka by Dr. B.L Venu’s, based on the Palegaras of Chitradurga. Mayabazar 2016 (transl.?Market of illusions) is a 2020 crime–comedy Kannada language film written and directed by debutant Radhakrishna Reddy, produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar of PRK Productions,^[2] M Govinda. The film stars Raj B. Shetty, Vasishta Simha, Achyuth Kumar, Prakash Raj and Chaithra Rao. The movie is about events surrounding the 2016 demonetization and revolves around an honest police officer, a small-time conman, a jobless youth and a corrupt cop who end up crossing each other’s paths when they are in quest of money.^[3]

The film was theatrically released on 28 February 2020.^[1] The movie was remade in Tamil as Naanga Romba Busy.^[4][5][6]

Shivaji Surathkal also known as Shivaji Surathkal: The Case of Ranagiri Rahasya is a 2020 mystery thriller Kannada language film written and directed by Akash Srivatsa, produced by Anup Gowda, Reka KN, starring Ramesh Aravind and Radhika Narayan in lead roles. The film is Ramesh’s 101st movie.^[2] The plot revolves around a murder mystery beginning in Ranagiri. 3rd Class is a 2020 Kannada, romantic action film directed by Ashok Dev and produced by Nam Jagadeesh under the banner of 7Hills Studio. The film starring Nam Jagadeesh, Roopika and Divya Rao, revolves around Sahana (Roopika) and Jagadeesh (Jaggi), who hail from different socio-economic background.
