Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal

Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (transl.?Stolen Glances) is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language romantic heist comedy film written and directed by Desingh Periyasamy. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma, while Rakshan and Niranjani Ahathian portray supportive roles in their acting debuts. The film was released on 28 February 2020 along with its dubbed Telugu version Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante.[2] The film was success at the box office.[3] Loosely based on the American dark comedy television series Imposters.

Maniyarayile Ashokan

Maniyarayile Ashokan is an upcoming 2020 Indian Malayalam romantic comedy drama film directed by Shamzu Zayba and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under the banner Wayfarer Films along with Jacob Gregory, who also stars in the title role.[1] The cast also include Anupama Parameswaran[2]Krishna SankarShine Tom Chacko and Anu Sithara.[3] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film will not be released theatrically and will stream worldwide on Netflix from 2020 August 31 onwards.[4]

Set in a village, the film follows the love-life of a middle class man named Ashokan.

Ashokan (Jacob Gregory), a disappointed village office employee starts his day by dreaming of his better half and a happy married life. However, he has an unlucky horoscope and inferior thoughts about his short stature. Everyone his same age, as well as his best friend, is married except for him.

As Ashokan is a single man past the ‘the marital age’, he too is grilled by questions from his villagers and relatives including his cousin Ajayan (Sunny Wayne) who never misses a chance to tease him. Apart from his loving parents, Ashokan is supported by his friends Ratheesh (Krishna Sankar) and Shaiju (Shine Tom Chacko) who stand by him through thick and thin.


The Rescue (2020 film)

The Rescue  is an upcoming Chinese action film directed by Dante Lam.[1] The film follows the personal and professional lives of members from the China Rescue & Salvage of the Chinese Ministry of Transport. The film stars Eddie PengWang YanlinXin ZhileiLan Yingying, Wang Yutian, and Xu Yang. The film was scheduled to the released in China on 25 January 2020, but was withdrawn due to COVID-19 pandemic.[2]

The Rescue is the third film in a series of films directed by Dante Lam that pays tribute to Chinese public personnel: 2016’s Operation Mekong (Police), 2018’s Operation Red Sea (Navy), and 2020’s The Rescue (Rescuers). The film has received financial and production backing and assistance from the Chinese Ministry of Transport.[3]

Legend of Deification

Legend of Deification  is a 2020 Chinese 3D computer-animated fantasy adventure film directed by Cheng Teng and Li Wei. Featuring the popular Chinese mythological figure Jiang Ziya, the plot is loosely based on the classic novel Investiture of the Gods, attributed to Xu Zhonglin.[2] It is a follow-up to 2019’s Ne Zha and the second installment of the Fengshen Cinematic Universe.[3]

The film was initially scheduled for release on 25 January 2020, in China,[4] but following the COVID-19 pandemic, all Chinese New Year releases were cancelled with no new release dates announced.

Leap (film)

Leap (Chinese: pinyinDuóguàn) is an upcoming Chinese biographical film directed by Peter Chan and starring Gong Li and Huang Bo. The film is based on the China women’s national volleyball team‘s stories spread over more than 40 years. The film was slated for release in China on January 25, 2020, the first day of the Chinese New Year, but was withdrawn due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The film’s Chinese title was originally named “China Women’s Volleyball Team” but due to regulatory issues, was renamed as “Duo Guan” one day before pre-release sales started.

Oh Andha Naatkal

Oh Andha Naatkal is an unreleased Tamil romantic comedy feature film written and directed by James Vasanthan. The film features actresses Khushbu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Urvashi and Suhasini in the leading roles.
