Karthik Subbaraj is presently working on ‘Jagame Thanthiram’ starring Dhanush, and the film work is going steady. Now, the latest buzz is that Karthik Subbaraj will be directing Chiyaan Vikram‘s 60th film.
During Vikram’s ‘Iru Mugan’ shoot time, Karthik Subbaraj reportedly narrated a story to Chiyaan, and the actor was very much dazzled by it. Now, the director and the star have reportedly decided to take off the film, and it is to be produced by Seven Screen Studio, which is producing Vikram’s current film ‘Cobra’. Vikram is expected to shoot simultaneously for this film along with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. However, fans have been expecting that Chiyaan 60 will be a gangster drama, and they are waiting for a film like ‘Gemini’ and ‘Bheema’ from Vikram.
Meanwhile, Vikram will be next seen in the film ‘Cobra’, which is directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, and the film has 25 percent of the shoot left to wrap up. Vikram will be donning a record number of looks for the thriller, and it has music scored by AR Rahman.
