With the shooting spot pictures of Dhanush’s upcoming film with Karthik Subbaraj being leaked on the internet, there have been many specualtion about the film being titled ‘Suruli‘, which is the character name of Dhanush in the film. Putting an end to this speculation, the production house has released a statement denying the above and have announced that the tile of the film will be revealed in February next year.
Produced by Y Not Studios, the film has Dhanush and Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the lead roles with Joju George, Kalaiarasan, Sanchana Natarajan and Vadivukkarasi in important roles. The film also has veteran Hollywood actor James Cosmo, who has acted in acclaimed projects like Braveheart, Trainspotting, The Chronicles of Narnia, Wonder Woman and Game Of Thrones, is playing a crucial role.
The production house’s statement read, “We would like to officially clarify that our production No.18 #D40 directed by Karthik Subbaraj starring Dhanush has not been titled-yet. The movie is in the final stages of filming which will go on till mid-January 2020. The official title will be revealed in February 2020. We kindly request friends from the Press & Media and fans to kindly ignore rumours and avoid circulating the inaccurate titles.”
