Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (transl.?Extra careful of marriage) is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya and produced by Aanand L. RaiHimanshu SharmaBhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banners Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series. A spin-off to the 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, whose script was also written by Kewalya, it stars Ayushmann KhurranaJitendra KumarNeena Gupta and Gajraj Rao.[3] The film tells the story of a gay man and his partner, who have trouble convincing the former’s parents of their relation.[4]

Filming wrapped on 16 December 2019 in Varanasi[5] and it was theatrically released in India on 21 February 2020.[6]

Love Aaj Kal (transl.?Love today tomorrow yesterday) is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedydrama film starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles[3] with Rishi Kapoor and Giselli Monteiro in supporting roles. Rahul Khanna and Neetu Singh also appear in cameo appearances.[4] The film is directed by Imtiaz Ali and produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Vijan. The film portrays the feeling of pure love which never changes, although the perspective of realising one’s soulmate has changed over time. It was remade into Telugu as Teen Maar with Pawan Kalyan and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles.[5]

Its spiritual successor of the same name, also directed by Ali and starring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles, was released on 14 February 2020 on Valentine’s Day.[6]

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language biographical period action film directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan KumarKrishan Kumar and Ajay Devgan under T-Series Films and Ajay Devgn FFilms. This film was also released in Marathi-language following popular demand.[4] Tracing the life of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare, it stars Ajay Devgn in the titular role along with Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in the lead roles. It also features Sharad Kelkar and Luke Kenny in the pivotal roles.[5] Set in the 17th century, it revolves around Tanaji’s attempts to recapture the Kondhana fortress once it passes on to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb who transfers its control to his trusted guard Udaybhan Singh Rathore.[6]

Principal photography commenced on 25 September 2018,[7][8] and the film was released in India in 3D and conventional theatres on 10 January 2020.[9] Tanhaji grossed ?367.65 crore (US$52 million) worldwide.[3]

Tanhaji, a Maratha warrior, is Shivaji Maharaj’s trusted lieutenant. When the Mughals invade and conquer Kondhana fort, he sets out to reclaim it for his king and country.

Street Dancer 3D

Street Dancer 3D is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language dance drama film directed by Remo D’Souza. It is produced by Bhushan KumarKrishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza under the banners T-Series and Remo D’Souza Entertainment. The film stars Varun DhawanShraddha KapoorPrabhu Deva and Nora Fatehi. Its music is composed by Sachin–JigarTanishk BagchiBadshahGuru Randhawa, Gurinder Seagal and Harsh Upadhyay, and released under the banner T-Series. The story explores a dance competition between some Indian and Pakistani dancers.

Originally planned as a sequel to Disney’s ABCD 2 (2015), the film was taken off the title due to Disney’s exit from Indian film production, and was instead renamed to its current title after Bhushan Kumar took over as producer. Filming commenced in February 2019 in Punjab, later moved to London and was wrapped up in July 2019. It was theatrically released in India on 24 January 2020.

Two rival dance groups, Street Dancer and Rule Breakers, despise each other and participate in a dance battle. Later, they decide to join hands for a greater cause.

Chhapaak

Chhapaak (transl.?Splash) is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. Based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, it stars Padukone as an acid attack survivor alongside Vikrant Massey and Madhurjeet Sarghi.[4] The film was Padukone’s first after a two-year gap; she was last seen in Padmaavat.[5]

The film was announced on 24 December 2018 by Padukone on her Twitter account; it marks her first production venture. Filming took place from March to June 2019 in New Delhi and Mumbai.[6]

The film was theatrically released in India on 10 January 2020.[7] The film was allowed by the government to be exhibited without payment of taxes in the states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.[8][9][10] It received positive reviews from critics but did not perform well commercially.[11][12]

Malti falls victim to an acid attack and is forced to go through the ordeal of a court procedure while trying to heal mentally. In the process, she decides to fight for justice for those like herself.
