Vinodhan

Vinodhan (aka) Vinothan is a Tamil movie with production by Prabhu Deva Studios, direction by Victor Jayaraj. Isari Velan’s grandson Varun will play the male lead. Sarabham fame Salony Luthra and Paradesi fame Vedhika are doing female lead roles in the movie.
A source close to the team says, “As the title suggests, Vedhika’s characterisation in the film will be peculiar. The actress will be playing a 60-year-old woman in some segments of the film, which is a psychological romantic drama.
The music for this film is by D Imman and Madhan Karky is the lyricist. 
Director Jayaraj said that he was disillusioned with how human psychology has been portrayed in Tamil films and wanted to make something intense with various dimensions.

Mariyappan

Mariyappan is a biographical sports drama movie on Mariyappan Thangavelu, who won gold for India in high jump in T-42 category. The movie is being directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. The film will have music by Sean Roldan, cinematography by Velraj, dialogues by filmmaker Raju Murugan and and Prasanna GK for editing.
The movie Mariyappan, the film will throw the spotlight on the life of the 21-year-old high jumper from Salem district in Tamil Nadu. Cuckoo and Joker movie fame, director Raju Murugan penned for movie dialogues. 
The film’s first look poster was announced on unveiled New Year (2017) by Shah Rukh Khan, and he wrote on his Twitter page: “Here’s presenting the first look of the biopic on Mariyappan Thangavelu, our very own national hero. All the best Aishwarya.”
The movie poster also revealed that the film will be simultaneously shot in English as well.

Synopsis

Sufiyum Sujathayum is a unique love story, that revolves around Rajeev and Sujatha, a married couple who flies to Dubai to attend the last rites of Sujatha’s ex-lover, a Sufi priest. Aditi Rao Hydari essays the titular character Sujatha in the movie, which features Jayasurya in the role of her husband Rajeev.

Ettuthikkum Para

Ettuthikkum Para is a 2020 Tamil language film directed by Keera. The film stars Samuthirakani and Chandini Tamilarasan in the lead roles with Nitish Veera and Ramdoss in pivotal roles.

Ambedkar (Samuthirakani), a social activist, gets involved in the dark side of the government. As a result, his son and friends are killed.

A lower caste individual (Nitish Veera) desires to marry a girl from a higher caste. A woman (Chandini Tamilarasan) leaves for Chennai to marry the man of her choice.

A man (Ramdoss) is in need of Rs 20,000 to save his son’s life. How these separate stories interact forms the rest of the story.

The film is directed by Keera, who previously directed Pacchai Enginra Kaathu (2016) and Merlin (2018) and is about honour killings. The film began production in 2018 under the name Para before the makers decided to change the name to Ettuthikkum Para as the name para was similar to a caste name. Samuthirakani was signed to play a pivotal role in the film. The film takes place in the course of twelve hours and is revolves around a group of different kind of people that are united by chance. The film was shot in North Chennai and Nagercoil.
